Job Description

Our client is a government contractor that is responsible for a large Missile Defense program. This specific program provides a radar surveillance system designed to track the location and destination of enemy missiles. The current team designing and building this system currently consists of over 300 individuals but is expanding quickly over the next few months in order to bring add new enhancements to the radar system and to ensure the program is keeping up with enemy tactics. We are specifically looking for candidates who have an interest in Algorithm Development, Data Analysis, or Integration and Test. This organization relies heavily on MATLAB and all candidates will be trained on Matlab for data analysis. You will work closely with engineering teams to support regression testing, analysis, and automation for radar systems and related technologies.

We are looking for a junior-senior resources with a background in either engineering or math.

Responsibilities:

- Perform regression testing and analysis on radar systems and associated software.

- Develop and execute test scripts using MATLAB or other scripting languages (Python, Perl).

- Operate in Unix/Linux environments for system testing and troubleshooting.

- Assist in creating automated test solutions and maintaining test frameworks.

- Document test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for resolution.

Support lab-based testing activities and ensure accurate configuration of test setups.

$45/hr to $65/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Familiarity with MATLAB for data analysis and test automation.

- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.

- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, or similar).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance - Experience with Matlab
