    Job Description

    - Must hold a minimum DoD Interim Secret Clearance, active secret clearance is preferred.

     

    - Must have scripting experience in PowerShell.

     

    - Has experience with Vulnerability Research (NVD) and Vulnerability Scanning (With tools like Nessus).

    Skills and Requirements

    - Has security Standards & Risk Management: Familiarity with NIST security standards, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and knowledge of web applications, database technologies, and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 / CWE) The role involves implementing secure software development practices, including secure coding, architecture, and system design, while integrating security requirements into applications and infrastructure. The individual conducts security assessments, testing, and documentation of vulnerabilities, and provides mitigation strategies. They are responsible for secure application development, packaging, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring compliance with government security standards. Additionally, the role includes educating team members, participating in incident response, analyzing security events, and supporting compliance monitoring and policy assessments.
