Job Description
Define and conduct lab and field tests, meticulously documenting results and collaborating with other engineers to resolve issues detected in testing.
Innovate, deliver, and maintain state-of-the-art tools to enhance test and field operations.
Analyze test data, clearly communicate results, and deliver actionable insights to our engineering teams.
Develop test metrics and success criteria.
Spearhead the development and maintenance of test fields, ensuring robust testing resources.
Manage successive plantings to provide comprehensive test coverage across various crop maturity stages, strategically transitioning between test sites throughout the year to maintain uninterrupted testing.
Tackle cross-disciplinary challenges, enabling seamless scaling of test and integration efforts.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate cutting-edge tools and technologies into our operations.
Engage in field test rotations and provide hands-on support during the growing season.

Skills and Requirements
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in hardware engineering and software development
Experience developing and conducting tests on complex systems including hardware and software
Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Demonstrated competence in documentation and results delivery
Enthusiastic about travel and working in field conditions as required
Experience with agriculture and agricultural equipment preferred
