    Job Description

    • Be Level 1/2 support for incoming security tickets

    • Provide hands-on support for a wide range of security technologies

    • Maintain and update IT Security SOPs

    • Coordinate remediation efforts for security events and vulnerabilities

    • Assist with IT security audits and third-party reviews

    • Stay current on network threat profiles and security trends

    • Support business continuity services as needed

    • Collaborate with business units to implement security policies and procedures

     

    Work under guidance from leadership and senior engineers

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ years of experience in network operations and/or network security

    • Hands-on experience with:

    • Firewalls, IDS, SIEM, Security Auditing, Vulnerability Scanning, Secure Messaging

    • AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, API Gateway, IAM, Direct Connect, Resource Manager, SSO)

    • Azure (e.g., VM, VNet, Virtual WAN Hub, Peering)

    • Ability to support IT control objectives, business objectives, and security incidents

    • Strong research and troubleshooting skills

    Broad understanding of information security technologies and industry trends • Knowledge of:

    • Network packet structure

    • Secure network transport methods

    • Network event monitoring, flow analysis, anomaly detection

    • Certifications such as:

    • CISSP, CISA, CEH, CSSLP, CHFI, CCSP, GCIH, GCIA

    • CompTIA Security+, Network+, AAWS, Azure, ITIL v3, MCP
