    Description

    SAIC is currently seeking a **System Engineer Director** located in **Pearl City, HI** to support the **USINDOPACOM** J7 Directorate to support the management of technical projects, support requirements analysis of the current and future states environments.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Seeking a Systems Engineer/Technical Director with experience to support large scale systems and events focused on evolution of the current architecture and function.

    • Deliver detailed analysis of current environment, industry and market trends are critical skills for evaluating multiple architecture artifacts and determine requirements.

    • Perform evaluation, implementation and refinement of technical requirements and technical architecture, working with multiple organizations to identify necessary changes.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities, conduct research, apply emerging technologies, and optimize dashboards for stakeholder communications.

    • Support the INDOPACOM J7 Technical leadership team with tracking, and analysis, generating reports to support operational needs.

    • Required excellent communication, planning and analytical skills with exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree and fifteen (15)+ years of experience; additional four years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.

    • Experience in technical management and/or technical analytics roles.

    • Background with IndoPACOM programs, projects and technical solutions.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

    • High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

    DESIRED SKILLSET:

    • Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) software and systems.

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for implementing process improvements.

    REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

    • Must have an active TS with ability to gain an SCI clearance.

     

    Must have Current US Citizenship.

     

    Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
