    Description

    **SAIC** is seeking a **Program Analyst** to provide on-site financial management support at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in **Newport, RI** .

    **In this role you will be responsible** :

    + Generating various financial and cost reports to support program execution.

    + Analyzing project funds, review financial data for technical programs, and working closely with Technical Project Managers (TPMs) and Project Management Analysts; key part of your work will involve gathering financial information using the Navy Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system.

    + Ensuring contract requirements and subcontractor responsibilities are being accomplished including working on the definition and implementation of project planning techniques to provide visibility on the contract.

    + Developing budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program, participating in and establishing and defining program plan requirements, and monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure that cost and schedule objectives are met.

    + Preparing presentations and assisting with various financial actions and requests from the Department business office.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in business or a related field and three (3) years of experience.

    + Direct NUWC financial experience

    + Must already possess minimum of interim SECRET clearance.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.

    + Strong understanding of basic financial principles.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.

    + The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
