• Project Manager (Remote Opportunity)

    VetsEZ is looking for a Project Manager to lead Agile software development teams supporting DevSecOps initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs. This role is responsible for end-to-end oversight of assigned projects, guiding cross-functional teams through large-scale initiatives or key components of complex programs. This role will manage the full lifecycle of applications and systems from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment with program objectives, budgets, and schedules while driving collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

     

    The candidate must reside within the continental US.

    Responsibilities:

    + Manage the full lifecycle of applications and systems projects from intake to customer delivery leveraging SAFe DevSecOps framework.

    + Lead and manage Agile Scrum teams, products, and processes throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Partner with technical leads to support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure modernization.

    + Determine and manage project schedules utilizing Agile PM methodologies and tools.

    + Provide regular reporting of project milestones, risks, impediments, and escalation requirements.

    + Present project vision, strategy, roadmaps, and planned deliveries to VA leadership, stakeholders, and governance groups.

    + Coordinate with VA leadership and stakeholders to manage dependencies, risks across products, and align priorities within the broader portfolio.

    + Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline.

    + 10+ years of relevant experience managing IT projects with strong ability to identify and mitigate risks.

    + Extensive experience managing complex IT projects and operating effectively in high-stress environments.

    + Proven ability to translate project activities into executive-level reports, correspondence, and presentations.

    + Experience with lifecycle and project management methodologies.

    + Experience in tracking costs, schedules, and performance progress.

    Additional Qualifications:

    + SAFe Agilist or other Agile certifications.

    + Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other Agile frameworks.

    + PMP or SAFe certifications preferred

    + Ability to obtain a government clearance
