Description
PeaceHealth is seeking a LPN Clinic - Orthopedics for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $28.32 – $42.46. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

DETAILS OF THE POSITION:
+ Assesses and implements patient care under supervision. Prepares patient for examination.
+ Provides direct patient care. Assists provider with examination and treatment of patient as directed.
+ Under the oversight of provider, may be responsible for telephone triage using age specific triage protocol books and computerized resources.
+ Documents patient care in health record according to department standards.
+ Obtains and conveys information to and from patients, pharmacies, and other providers as directed and supervised by a licensed provider. May obtain referral authorizations for treatment as directed by provider.
+ Ensures own professional effectiveness through continued education and professional development.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING:
+ Accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program required.
+ Minimum of 1 year Preferred: clinical experience as an LPN.
+ Required: Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
+ Required: Upon Hire Licensed Practical Nurse - Alaska.
+ Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support.
+ Basic computer skills required including familiarity with MS Office applications. (Required)
+ Must have cooperative working and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of patients, families and staff. (Required)
+ Effective prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple clinical tasks at one time. (Required)
+ Must be well organized, detail oriented, flexible and able to function independently. (Required)
