Job Location Fayetteville Job Description Description: Senior Category Analysts (CAs) are responsible for delivering Winning Shelf Now & Next Solutions for Walmart. Sr CAs must develop a deep knowledge of the Category they work on to support the Category Development Manager in influencing & executing Walmart’s Category Strategies. Sr CAs must have strong interpersonal skills as they co-own the relationship with the Walmart Buyer. Sr CAs are responsible for the execution of the Walmart Modular Process (Strategy Development, Modular Drawing, Modular Analysis, etc.). Sr CAs must have strong analytical skills in order to support Walmart’s weekly reporting and ad hoc analytical needs leveraging P&G’s suite of analytical tools (FastMart, Nielsen, Scintilla, etc.). Sr CAs are responsible for maintaining item & store segmentation which fuels P&G’s analytical tools & modular software. Sr CAs must also be able to leverage shopper insights to deliver strategic alignment and drive execution across the Omni Shopping Environment. Senior CAs are proficient in 1 or more P&G Analytical Tools or Space Planning Software and serve as experts & trainers for the Walmart Category Management Team. Job Qualifications Competencies and Skills Needed: + Analytics: Competency in developing business/category knowledge, and ability to leverage analytics and data. + Strategic Thinking: Displayed problem solving and decision-making skills. + Innovates and Reapplies: Ability to design and create capability. + Leadership: Demonstrated stewardship, people development skills, Company values (PVP), and communication skills. + Operational Discipline – ability to consistently deliver granular, time-bound projects. Background/Prior Experience: + Sales/Category Management Experience within CPG + Understanding of and Experience with Space Planning Tools (JDA, CKB, POG Generator) + Strong Analytical Skills with experience in Retail Link & Nielsen preferred Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
