JOB SUMMARY:
As the Manager of HRIS and Operations, you will be asked to be the strategic and operational leader responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and key HR operational functions. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, this role ensures data integrity, system optimization, and efficient HR processes to support business objectives and enhance employee experience. This position serves as a key member of the Human Resources Leadership Team, responsible for leading cross-functional initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure strategic alignment with HR operations, technology and business objectives. The incumbent is a skilled project manager capable of effectively planning initiatives, establishing timelines and milestones, allocating resources, managing scope, and delivering measurable results.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of Human Resource Information systems (HRIS), ensuring data integrity, system efficiency and security across HR systems.
+ Manage and enhance the infrastructure of HR operations, ensuring scalability, process efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Partner with IT and vendors to manage system upgrades, integrations, and issue resolutions.
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive HR analytics framework, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, to evaluate the effectiveness of talent strategies, operational processes, and workforce initiatives.
+ Design, implement and manage dashboards and reporting tools that deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across leadership.
+ Leverage workforce data to identify trends, inform strategic decisions and support continuous improvement across HR functions.
+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to standardize and streamline workflows and enhance employee experience.
+ Oversee core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, compliance and audits.
+ Lead and develop a high-performing HRIS and operations team.
+ Collaborate with HR business partners, payroll, finance and other departments to align systems and processes.
+ Manage vendor relationships related to HR operations and systems.
+ Ensure HR operational practices align with legal and regulatory requirements.

+ Provide strategic insights through workforce analytics, metrics and trends
+ Manage and improve the overall infrastructure of HR operations, processes and systems.
+ Ensures compliance and adherence to organizational policies, relevant employment laws, and regulatory standards.
+ Lead change management initiatives by developing strategies that support organizational transformation, employee adoption, and process improvement.
+ Apply strong project management skills to lead and support strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE: Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or comparable degree program.
+ Eight to Ten (8–10) years of progressive HR Operations experience in a complex environment; minimum of three (3) years in a management capacity.
+ Three to Five (3–5) years of experience with HRIS system management (e.g. ADP, Workday) within a healthcare/hospital environment.
+ Strong understanding of data integrity, compliance, and system integration
+ Exceptional knowledge and experience with ATS (e.g. Simplyr, ADP).
+ Experience with project management and system implementation.
+ Experience in change management, process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives.
+ Experience with data analytics and reporting.
+ General HR technology systems, and MS Office.
+ Advanced Excel knowledge.
+ Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
+ Exceptional organizational skills are a necessity.
+ Solid understanding of all relevant regulatory laws and requirements.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in building positive relationships and working collaboratively at all levels.
+ Ability to adjust to shifting priorities in a fast-paced working environment.
+ Strong listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), with proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Strong attention to detail, project management skills, timely execution, and excellent follow-though.
Preferred:
+ Human Resources Certification, Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR), or Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification (SPHR), SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. Certifications must be current.
+ Project Management certification.
