The Opportunity
As **Director of Talent Distribution & Reporting** , you will lead the design and oversight of organization-wide reporting frameworks, data governance, and audience rules to ensure the right people receive the right learning and training at the right time. This role requires deep expertise in HR, talent, and learning technologies, reporting automation, and compliance standards, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that enable talent and learning teams to deliver measurable impact across the association. To be successful in this role, you will bring a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership, as reflected in the following qualifications:
+ Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams, fostering collaboration across Talent Management, HRBPs, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and business leaders.
+ Advanced proficiency in HR, Talent, and Learning systems (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Percipio, Eightfold, Degreed, LMS platforms) with the ability to configure, distribute, and optimize reporting and audience rules.
+ Strong expertise in learning analytics and talent reporting, including tracking participation, completions, certifications, compliance training, and workforce capability metrics.
+ Skilled in data integration across multiple HR, Talent, and Learning platforms, consolidating information into unified dashboards and reports that support executives, HRBPs, and business leaders.
+ Proven ability to design and implement reporting automation and self-service dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar) to reduce manual effort and accelerate insight delivery.
+ Deep knowledge of governance and compliance reporting requirements for talent and learning, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to OCC/FRB and enterprise risk standards.
+ Ability to translate technical data into business-relevant insights, enabling Talent Management and Learning leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions on workforce capability and investments.

What you'll do:
+ Leads complex, comprehensive Talent Management projects from strategy through implementation, adoption and stabilization.
+ Consults with senior business leaders to deeply understand the business and develops and implement talent programs and solutions to address their biggest needs.
+ Develops and delivers data-driven insights and materials to support talent practices and talent deliverables.
+ Creates and manages programs for specific employee populations, such as military-affiliated talent, high potential talent, and any other key segments as well as critical skills for the future of the workforce.
+ Uses data, analytics and evidenced-based practices to inform leadership development talent strategies, proactively identifies skill development opportunities based on business needs, identifies trends, and measures program effectiveness (ROI).
+ Lead the development and implementation of innovative, scalable, and sustainable talent management solutions that drive economic value and contribute to the organization's overall success.
+ Manages vendor relationships and partners with USAA procurement to ensure optimal outcomes.
+ Builds and oversees a team of talent professionals for assigned functional area through ongoing execution of recruiting, development, retention, coaching and support, performance management, and managerial activities.
+ Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have:
+ Bachelor's degree required. 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
+ 8+ years of experience in enterprise-level talent program and process development and implementation with a focus on talent development (e.g. coaching, mentoring, rotations, leadership development, talent pipeline planning, learning, skills management).
+ 3+ years of experience leading others either formally in a managerial role, or informally as a project or team lead.
+ Advanced knowledge of various talent management technology solutions.
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with senior executives.
+ Proven ability to develop and implement strategic talent management initiatives.
+ Proven ability and experience managing and influencing senior leaders and peer stakeholders.
+ Uses technology, AI, and/or automation to work efficiently and champions these behaviors among teammates
+ Stays attuned to advancement in research and practice and applies those insights to work.
+ Experience driving and managing change in support of organizational or programmatic initiatives.
+ Demonstrates a structured approach to problem solving while balancing competing priorities.
What sets you apart:
+ Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud) including process optimization and configuration coordination.
+ Proficiency in task tracking, documentation, and cross-functional execution. Skilled in workflow design tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Miro, Visio).
+ Proven ability to leverage user insights and data-driven methodologies to develop and optimize HR products and programs that directly contribute to improved employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
+ Expertise in conducting user research (both qualitative and quantitative) to identify unmet needs and pain points within the employee experience.
+ Adept at creating detailed user personas and segmenting employee populations to tailor HR solutions effectively.
+ Demonstrated success in managing diverse stakeholder expectations and aligning product roadmaps with business objectives.
Compensation range:** The salary range for this position is: $143,320 - $273,930 **.

**Compensation:** USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
