Description:
Join the MercyOne family! We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech!
As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will:
+ Be responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging exams, CT's, as well as mammography and other designated procedures
+ Contribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care
+ Provide care appropriate to the age and development of patients of most ages – teenagers through geriatric
Schedule** **:
+ 36 hours a week
+ Monday - Friday
+ Night and weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend)
**Requirements** :
+ Graduation of an AMA Radiologic Technology program
+ Iowa permit to practice
+ Maintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
+ ARRT Credentials preferred include: Mammography, BDSM certification and CT certification
+ Willing to obtain credentials within a designated time frame as determined by department need
+ Remains current with Continuing Education requirements for designated national certifications
+ Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status
+ Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 years
