Description:
Saint Mary’s Hospital,** a proud member of Trinity Health Of New England, is a recognized leader in Rehabilitation Care. We are excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an experienced **Outpatient Physical Therapist** to join our newly renovated Outpatient Rehab Clinic located in **Naugatuck.
In this role, you will focus on treating patients with **neurological diagnoses** and play a key part in developing and expanding a new line of neurological rehabilitation services. We are seeking a passionate and skilled PT who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to help shape the future of outpatient neuro rehab care.
What will you do:
+ Evaluates, directs, plans, and treats patients with a wide variety of disabilities to help clients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
+ Develops and conducts a variety of techniques and modalities to provide individualized treatment appropriate to established goals.
+ Modifies treatment plans and goals due to changes in client status and capabilities.
+ Maintains appropriate communication with treatment team, physicians, clients, and/or family members to facilitate problem solving, program planning and education.
Requirements:
+ Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy
+ Current State of CT license.
+ Previous professional experience required
+ Ability to clearly explain clinical, technical, and diagnostic procedures to clients and their families.
