Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is a central point of support for the company, responsible for maintaining a welcoming office environment, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions. As the first person employees, clients, and visitors see when they enter the building, this role sets the tone for a positive and professional experience. With a welcoming presence and strong organizational skills, the Administrative Assistant/Receptionist not only manages day-to-day office operations but also helps create an environment where people feel valued and supported. This role also owns and executes the planning, coordination, and delivery of internal events and activities that strengthen company culture and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors by greeting guests and answering or directing phone calls.
+ Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
+ Manage visitor logs and employee badges.
+ Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area.
+ Monitor and order office supplies, employee gifts, and business cards.
+ Stock and maintain snacks and drinks in the breakroom and conference rooms.
+ Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office cleaning, facilities maintenance, HVAC, and handyman services.
+ Complete expense reports and other administrative requests.
+ Provide support for printing, shipping, and document needs.
+ Plan and coordinate internal events, including team-building activities, employee celebrations, company meetings, and seasonal parties.
+ Support employee engagement efforts.
Qualifications:
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
+ Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.
