Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Management is seeking a **First Line Leader, Procurement Manager** (Level K) to join the team in **Seattle, WA** . This position will focus on supporting Boeing Global Services Supply Chain via the Global Parts Solutions Commercial Spares team.
The First Line Leader in this position will lead our Commodity Procurement team. The Commodity Procurement team collaborates with our business and supply chain partners in order to execute our supply chain goals and meet our customer requirements.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.** **The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Seattle, WA
Position Responsibilities
+ Manage, develop, and motivate employees across a global team
+ Knowledgeable of how the business and organization operates; application of policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization; understands the competition and the marketplace
+ Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes
+ Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
+ Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
+ Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tool
+ Possess strong business acumen, communication and problem-solving skills
+ Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
+ More than 5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain processes
+ More than 5 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
+ Experience leading teams and projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher
+ Aerospace experience preferred
+ Experience in commodity management or strategy
+ Experience in strategic decision making and supplier negotiations
+ Communication skills and customer focus are critical to be successful in the role
Relocation:
This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 118,150 - 159,850
