    Job Title: Entry level Assembler - 3rd Shift

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as an Assembler working on the third shift. This role involves assembling and inspecting sunglasses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires flexibility with mandatory overtime. Shifts run from 9 PM to 5 AM, Monday through Friday nights, with overtime on Saturday nights and some Sundays.

    Responsibilities

    + Work in teams of 4-5 to assemble and inspect sunglasses from start to finish.

    + Screw, glue, and fasten individual pieces of sunglasses together for lens installation and quality auditing.

    + Install lenses into frames and glue icons onto frames.

    + Use small tools to insert screws or pins to hold frames together.

    + Operate the pad printing machine and mix paint for pad printing.

    + Sand and buff the gate/burr off the center frame.

    + Send assembled products to Quality Auditor for final inspection before packaging.

    + Set up workstations at the start of each shift and accommodate the production of different models daily.

    + Rotate job duties within shifts to limit repetitive movements.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to stand and walk for 8-10+ hours a day.

    + Comfortable using small hand tools and power tools.

    + Good attendance and punctuality.

    + Willingness to adapt to changing job duties and departments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No experience required, but prior assembly experience is helpful.

    + Pass drug and background checks.

    + Three strikes mentality for attendance.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety is a priority. The job involves standing throughout the shift, with protective eyewear provided and required at all times. Earplugs may be necessary in certain departments. The dress code is casual, but close-toed shoes are mandatory. Employees participate in regularly scheduled stretches and must complete a one-hour safety training before starting.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Foothill Ranch, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.97 - $19.97/hr.
