Material Handler

Pay: $20/Hour

Shift: 7AM-3:30PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Logistics Specialist to efficiently manage the loading, unloading, and movement of inventory and materials to and from warehouses and storage areas. This role requires the use of a forklift, stock picker, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. You will play a vital role in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system.

Responsibilities

+ Complete inventory of parts using an MRP system to track information.

+ Load and unload ocean containers and trucks using tools such as a crowbar, claw hammer, and other hand tools.

+ Pick and stage inventory against sales orders, work orders, and material requisitions.

+ Manage manual and clerical tasks related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.

+ Maintain stockroom in an orderly and organized manner.

+ Perform data entry as needed.

+ Process incoming and outgoing shipments.

+ Prepare and package spares and machine orders for shipping and special assignments.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 2 to 3 years of related inventory experience.

+ Proficiency in generating proper documentation.

+ PC literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in cycle counts, inventory control, and order picking.

+ Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.

+ Forklift operation skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
