    We are looking for a Project Finance Intern. Thisposition will be based in Sacramento, CA, Alpharetta, GA or Lexington, NC

     

    During your summer journey with us, you will have the

    opportunity to immerse yourself in Project Finance and be responsible for the

    completion of all commercial and financial topics throughout the sales/bid

    process of a Project. You will work with the respective Project Managers in all

    project areas with the objective of executing the assigned projects according

    to the defined Project Management (PM) standards, customer requirements, and

    the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). You will ensure the

    accuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project records.

    Facilitate all commercial aspects of assigned bid activities: contract

    analysis, cost calculation, business models, financing concepts, currency,

    hedging, risks, and opportunities, etc. Set up financial performance plans for

    projects based on planned delivery schedules for the offered scope during the

    sales phase, and manage it throughout the project execution phase. Set up and

    closely monitor revenue recognition: actual vs plan, degree of completion, cost

    to complete, and total forecasted costs vs planned. Ensure full compliance of

    revenue and cost recognition with company accounting policies under US-GAAP /

    IFRS. Perform financial planning, forecasting, controlling, reconciliation of

    project cash flow, and constant deviation analysis.

    coordinated transportation of people and goods by rail – including rolling

    stock, rail automation, rail electrification, and service. We craft and

    manufacture across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and

    regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives,

    passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. Cities and Railroads also rely on

    us to provide traction-power substations and electricity transmission, as well

    as signaling and control technology for freight and passenger rail and transit

    systems.

    Who Should Apply?

     

    + Education/Majors:Current sophomore junior undergraduates pursuing a BA/BS from anaccredited college or university and majoring in Accounting, Finance,Business Administration, Economics with a strong technical or analyticalaptitude

    + Availability:40 hours per week from June to August

    + WorkAuthorization: Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in theUnited States without the need for current or future employer-sponsoredwork authorization

    + Priorinternship or co-op experience (preferred) with a preferred cumulative GPAof 3.0

    + Demonstratedleadership potential

    + Stronganalytical, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills
