    Job Summary:

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage schedules for Gen Peds faculty in Qgenda.

    + Create CHC yearly call schedule.

    + Manage and track CU-Medicine and University accounts and generate simple reports.

    + Process invoices and reimbursements.

    + Coordinate and organize meetings among multiple people to occur by phone or in person.

    + Track faculty files for credentialing, including BLS/PALS recertification, license renewal, DEA, and association dues. Proactively assist faculty in renewals to avoid lapses in credentialing and memberships.

    + Coordinate and create a quarterly Section newsletter.

    + Support a variety of Section-wide projects, as needed.

    + Conduct typical office management functions such as ordering office supplies, file maintenance, answering phones, and attending staff meetings.

    + Perform data entry for projects.

    + Organize staff/faculty recognition and events, such as the annual holiday party.

    + Perform other duties and tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A combination of related education and/or relevant general clerical or administrative experience, equal to four (4) years.

    Conditions of Employment:

    + Must successfully pass a 10-panel drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado.Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal and sex-offender background check.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + At least one (1) year of experience working in a hospital or academic setting.

    + Experience working with Microsoft Office, Qgenda, and Epic.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.

    + Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.

    + Outstanding customer service skills.

    + Ability to multitask and manage multiple complex functions at once.

    + Willingness to exercise judgment, discretion, and be comfortable making decisions independently.

    + Basic understanding of office equipment, faxing, copying, etc.

    + General understanding of Academic Medicine.
