About this Role

The Civil Inspector will oversee civil inspection activities for projects located in the West Texas area near Colorado City, Lamesa, and Garden City, TX. This role ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications while coordinating with clients, contractors, and testing laboratories to ensure quality and safety.

What You'll Do

+ Conduct inspections on civil works, including formwork, rebar placement, concrete, soil compaction, and other structural elements.

+ Interpret job-specific standards, ACI Codes, and engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance.

+ Complete inspection reports in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and laboratory staff regarding testing and results.

+ Coordinate with testing laboratories for concrete testing and soil compaction requirements.

+ Provide feedback and recommendations to ensure project specifications are met.

What You'll Bring

+ Minimum 5–8 years of civil inspection experience, preferably within industrial or heavy civil projects.

+ Strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients and project stakeholders.

+ In-depth knowledge of ACI Codes and the ability to apply them to field inspections.

+ Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, including dimensions, formwork, rebar sizes, and embedments.

+ Ability to prepare detailed inspection reports.

+ Ability to be 100% on-site for the duration of the project (expected to end Dec 2026)
