Reporting directly to the Microsoft Site Engineering Lead, the Business Operations Program Manager collaborates with local site teams, employee groups, and partners to deliver programs that:

+ Engage the region’s ecosystems of STEM students, universities, and tech communities as well as customers and partners.

Responsibilities
+ Support the Engineering Site Leader in maintaining a rhythm of the business (RoB) that drives execution of core business priorities and encourages best practice sharing among development centers.
+ Support and participate in strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall strategy. Create and implement accurate plans.
+ Develop success metrics and communication approach for initiatives and projects. Track and communicate progress against success metrics.
+ Deliver on programs in support of strategic initiatives or cross-group projects contributing to the overall strategy for engaging communities and ecosystems in the region.
+ Partner with the finance team and business managers to support financial planning and budgeting. Participate in expense reporting, budget tracking, and reconciliation activities for the team as needed.
+ Plan and execute meetings, events, offsites, and partnerships both inside Microsoft and external with partners.
+ Exercise sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in communicating information and working with all levels of employees.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience collaborating effectively across complex, matrixed organizations to drive operational outcomes, such as cross-functional coordination for events and logistics.
+ Experience managing projects independently, ensuring accurate and timely execution of event plans and operational deliverables under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey timelines, expectations, and logistical details to internal and external stakeholders.
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
