ABOUT YOU
As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you are a technically adept, security-conscious professional who thrives in complex, high-availability environments. You approach challenges with precision and calm, balancing hands-on expertise with strategic foresight. Your ability to collaborate across teams, maintain rigorous documentation, and respond swiftly to incidents ensures Massport’s network remains resilient, scalable, and secure in a 24/7 operational environment.
What you will do:
+ Leads the administration of Massport’s enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring consistent performance, scalability, and security across physical and virtual environments.
+ Partners with senior technical staff and cross-functional teams to implement integrated solutions that enhance network reliability and security.
+ Provides expert-level support in a 24/7 operational setting, including rapid response to incidents and after-hours troubleshooting.
+ Maintains system integrity through secure configurations, continuous monitoring, comprehensive documentation, and structured change management.
WHAT YOU OFFER
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
+ Over 10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network design, installation, and system operations.
+ Strong understanding of NSX-T, VXLAN/Geneve protocols, and fiber channel SAN administration preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, security frameworks, authentication systems, and operating systems, with experience collaborating across IT teams in multi-vendor environments.
