    We are seeking 3rd Shift Welding Machine Operators to join our team at Wesanco!

     

    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday **Must be open to working Saturdays (same scheduled time as above) and OT as necessary**

     

    Shift: 3rd 11:00pm-7:30am

    Job Summary:

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Operates welding machine in order to join metal spans in metal fabrication process

    + May set up and operate machines such as drill presses, punch presses, saws, shears, bending rolls, brakes, grinders, and numerical control equipment to shape and alter metal according to specifications.

    + Follows blueprints, customer specifications, rough sketches, or engineer drawings to shape mend, weld metal accurately.

    + Uses hand and power tools to shape, cut, and smooth metal and to blend seams.

    + May set up and operate soldering and welding equipment.

    Requirements:

    + Excellent verbal communication skills with strong aptitude for operating machinery.

    + Ability to follow instructions and learn the production process.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent time management skills.

    + Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

    + Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time management skills

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended period

    Education and Experience:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Hi-Lo Certification preferred must be trained and certified on the hilo.

    + (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    + Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.

    + Must have reliable transportation.
