    About the Role & Program

    This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, FL, from **January 2026 to June 2026.**

     

    What You Will Do

     

    The Resource Management team supports Production excellence by maintaining and improving workflow tools and data integrity, with the intern playing a key role in daily operations such as database management, troubleshooting, and training documentation. During the internship, you will gain experience in how Disney uses digital tools like Smartsheet for entertainment logistics, applying your organizational and analytical skills to enhance processes and resolve issues.

    On any given day, you might:

    + Independently manage project assignments to identify, develop, and analyze opportunities for enhancing database workflows and operational efficiency within Entertainment

    + Maintain and troubleshoot the Smartsheet database by conducting regular audits, fixing bugs, updating logic structures, and resolving issues related to entertainment planning and logistics

    + Support team efforts in streamlining resource management processes, including collaborating on new ideas, collecting and analyzing data, and producing reports to monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement

    + Create and refine training documentation and materials to assist new users, ensure consistent onboarding, and document updates to internal tools and workflows

    + Assist with project management through research, data analysis, building presentations, and facilitating comparative analysis of metrics across entertainment teams

    Required Qualifications & Skills

    + Internship or work experience in an analytical, problem-solving, or process improvement role

    + Experience balancing multiple tasks with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

    + Strong communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and decision-making skills

    + Track record and willingness to learn new software applications and analytical tools

    + Analytical, creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and act tactually

    + Proficiency with Smartsheet or equivalent database tracking tools, including formulas, automations, and cross-sheet references.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Knowledge and/or experience with Disney Parks

    + Leadership position in an extra-curricular program

    + SQL/Python familiarity is a plus, but not required

    Education

    + Junior year or beyond

    + Major or previous coursework in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Technical Project Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field of study

     

    Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

    Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

    + Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application posting, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship​

    + Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program

    + Be at least 18 years of age​

    + Possess unrestricted work authorization​

    + The dates of this six-month commitment in Orlando, FL, are **January 2026 to June 2026**

    + Fully available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) and have a consistent, reliable work schedule for the duration of the internship

    + Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, FL area, and have reliable transportation to/from work
