    Overview

    Position Summary:

    The Parking Valet Lead oversees daily valet operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient vehicle handling, and smooth coordination among valet staff. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and professionalism.

     

    Pay: $24.00 an hour

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Supervise valet attendants and assign tasks to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.

    + Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first and last impression.

    + Monitor vehicle flow and parking logistics to prevent congestion and delays.

    + Train new valet staff on procedures, customer service standards, and safety protocols.

    + Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.

    + Maintain accurate records of vehicle keys, tickets, and parking logs.

    + Inspect vehicles for damage before and after parking; report any incidents promptly.

    + Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local laws.

    + Communicate effectively with hotel, restaurant, or facility management as needed.

    + Perform valet duties when necessary, including parking and retrieving vehicles.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Minimum 1–2 years of valet or customer service experience; leadership experience preferred.

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    + Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

    + Professional appearance and demeanor.

    + Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    Preferred Skills:

    + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

    + Experience with valet management software or systems.
