TRICOR Insurance is looking for a **Transportation Placement Specialist** to join our growing Placement team in our Dubuque, IA location!

    What You’ll Do

    + Market new and renewal **transportation accounts** to carriers

    + Negotiate favorable terms, coverage, and pricing with carriers

    + Prepare insurance proposals tailored to client needs

    + Serve as the key liaison between agents, clients, and underwriters

    + Provide advanced technical leadership on transportation risks

    + Monitor carrier performance, problem solve, and ensure smooth execution of quotes

    + Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with carriers and clients

    What You’ll Need

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent insurance/transportation experience

    + 1+ year of insurance, customer service, or related experience

    + Ability to obtain an insurance license within 90 days of employment

    + Strong knowledge of the **transportation insurance marketplace** and carrier appetites

    + Negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applied Epic preferred

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
