Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performs all duties of a Level CNC Machine Operator without assistance.

• Operates a minimum of two types of CNC equipment.

• Runs multiple machines at or above expected parts-per-hour targets.

• Reads & understands M codes & basic G codes.

• Changes and/or replaces broken or worn tools independently.

• Identifies functional issues or trends with fixtures & understands how to troubleshoot.

• Makes corrective actions to out-of-tolerance dimensions in a CMM or control plan without assistance.

• Supports inspection processes by interpreting technical drawings & validating measurements using CMM & manual tools.

• Collaborates with leads or engineers to improve setups, reduce scrap, & improve efficiency.

• Assists in training or mentoring Level I operators as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

+ Experience and Education:

+ Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on CNC machining experience

+ High school degree or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in machining preferred

+ Proficient in reading blueprints, technical drawings, & work instructions

+ Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, setup, & basic troubleshooting

+ Ability to operate multiple machines or multitask across equipment types

+ Working knowledge of M codes & basic G code functionality

+ Demonstrated ability to interpret CMM reports & adjust offsets or tooling as needed

+ Competency in using inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, gage pins, height gauges, & CMMs

+ Good mechanical aptitude & attention to details

+ Effective communication & teamwork skills

+ Willingness to assist in training others & support continuous improvement efforts

+ Physical Requirements:

+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs

+ Ability to stand for long periods (90% of shift)

+ Must be able to grip, reach, pull, turn, & use tools

+ Stooping, squatting, & use of fine motor skills

+ Specific vision abilities include close & distance vision, depth perception, & ability to adjust focus

+ Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time
