Job description
Builds aircraft 787 structures carbon fiber parts using resins and epoxies using engineering drawings,
company and customer specifications

• Accurately builds parts using resins and epoxies.
• Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, and work orders.
• Seals parts per manufacturing order or Static PWO as required per current revision.
• Properly maintains and identifies defects in parts and report any findings to supervisor or QA.
• Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability.
• Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process.
• Part Marks according to engineering drawings, company and customer specifications.
• Works toward the end of the assembly line.
• Organizes completed parts and paperwork.
• Creates shipping paperwork, “Shipper”.
• Submits Shipper to indicate part is ready for shipping and invoicing.
• Moves Shipper and part to Shipping Department.
• Assists Shipping Department as necessary to prepare packing of part.
Candidate skills & requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience: 0-3 years
Computer Skills: Must be able to understand and use Microsoft Office products
Other Skills: Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders
