Overview
Under the guidance of the Corporate IT department, this position is responsible for the IT infrastructure and support activities for Sharp Manufacturing Company of America (SMCA). Activities include support for end users as well as VMware and network oversight.
Responsibilities
+ Recommend, develop, and implement IT requirements for the facility. Recommendations should be industry current with appropriate technologies.
+ Provide support for all company users for desktops, laptops, peripherals, account management, business applications and troubleshooting issues.
+ Management and oversight of facility VMware and storage applications.
+ Management and oversight of the facility network infrastructure. This may include switch management and installation, wireless access points, and cabling.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field and minimum of 6 years experience.
+ Prefer help desk experience with knowledge of VMWare, storage appliances, backup tools, and network switches.
+ Excellent communication skills required.

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $49,400- $92,611. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
