    As a **Security Professional Armed Patrol Specialist** in **Charlotte, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

     

    As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a prominent financial institution location. Your responsibilities will include routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and visitors.     Tue11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

     

    Sat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

    What You’ll Do:

    + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

    + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

    + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

    + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

    + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

    + Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site procedures.

    + Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while upholding Allied Universal standards.

    + Operate and handle assigned equipment, including firearms, in accordance with company policies and training.

    + Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents at the location.

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Availability across various days and shifts

    + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

    + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

    + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

    + Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program.

    + Possess an armed guard card or license as required by the client.

    + Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
