As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will contribute to a secure atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Sat06:00 AM - 01:30 PM

What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in daily reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.

+ Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Support emergency response efforts by following site-specific procedures during fire alarms, medical emergencies, or other incidents.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement is required.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
