Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Service Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will engage in hands-on service work on large commercial solar installations and small utility-scale projects across the region. You will bring a strong electrical and mechanical experience, a passion for renewable energy, and a commitment to safety and quality. Most projects are based in Tucson with 20-50% travel required out of state.
Responsibilities
+ Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on solar PV systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components of solar arrays, inverters, combiner boxes, and monitoring systems.
+ Conduct system performance evaluations and diagnostics using specialized tools and software.
+ Document service activities, findings, and corrective actions in work orders and reports.
+ Ensure compliance with safety protocols, NEC standards, and company procedures.
+ Support commissioning and testing of new installations as needed.
+ Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to resolve complex issues.
+ Travel to project sites across Arizona and neighboring states as required.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system maintenance or related electrical work.
+ Familiarity with commercial and utility-scale solar technologies, including string and central inverters.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and site plans.
+ Proficient with diagnostic tools, multimeters, IV curve tracers, and data loggers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
+ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Willingness to travel and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $45.00/hr.
