    About the Role

     

    We-re looking for a detail-oriented, customer-first Account Specialist to join our team! This role serves as the primary contact for customer accounts - building strong relationships, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and resolving issues with speed and professionalism.

     

    As a key liaison between our customers, sales team, and operations, you-ll play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while supporting business growth.     What You-ll Do

    Customer Management

    + Serve as the go-to contact for account questions, orders, and updates

    + Process and track customer orders accurately

    + Ensure timely communication on shipments, changes, and service requests

    + Maintain clean and up-to-date account records

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    + Work closely with Sales, Plant Managers, and Scheduling to meet customer needs

    + Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction

    Operational Support

    + Monitor and manage inventory aging, customer RFQs, and warranty claims

    + Provide strategic monthly forecasting insights using JDE or Power BI

    + Identify and act on service issues before they become problems

    Continuous Improvement

    + Propose and support process improvements

    + Help optimize warehouse efficiency and resolve product challenges

    + Share feedback and opportunities with leadership

    What You Bring

    + Bachelor-s degree (B.A.)

    + 5+ years of experience in customer service or account management

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Solid understanding of manufacturing processes

    + Ability and willingness to travel (10-20%)

    + Hands-on approach - must be able to handle products (crates, trays, pallets)

    + Experience with Salesforce, JD Edwards (JDE), and/or EDI is a big plus
