Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you'll have the chance to communicate and coordinate data effectively among a variety of interdependent vested parties in support of systems engineering integration. You'll develop your project management and technical skills to manage a large database of hardware, sof tware, documentation, training, and authorizations that will be transferred between several contractors. The candidate will collaborate with the military, government personnel, fellow SE & I support, additional support contractors, and a variety of development contractors gaining experience in systems of systems engineering integration. This is an opportunity to perform system integration and program management work in support of delivering interoperable systems that can interface together to support the warfighter.

You Have:

+ 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration on space system programs

+ Experience performing systems engineering across space systems, between space and ground systems, or within spacecraft systems

+ Experience with system architecture, capability documents, and standards for the purposes of identifying and developing system interface requirements

+ Experience developing client and stakeholder relationships

+ Experience developing and briefing materials for senior management

+ Knowledge of working in Micro sof t Excel, Jira, and Confluence, including generating reports and metrics

+ Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Center s ( FFRDC ) , and asso cia te contractor teammates to achieve program goals

+ Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative to complete complex tasks

+ Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics ( STEM ) field

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience with DoD acquisitions and program management

+ Experience organizing and facilitating a team to develop systems engineering products to a schedule

+ Experience working on spacecraft or ground systems subsystem design

+ Experience with standards development and architecture

+ TS / SCI clearance

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
