The role you'll contribute:

The Junior Embryologist will be responsible for assisting the Embryologist Supervisor with day-to-day operations of the fertility clinic's assisted reproductive technology (ART) laboratory. This individual will train on all aspects of the in vitro fertilization (IVF) process, from the initial assessment of patient samples to the culture and transfer of embryos. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure the success of fertility treatments and provide support to patients throughout their journey.

+ Assist as appropriate in reporting all necessary data to the governing agencies such as SART.

+ Respond to emergencies appropriately and according to protocol.

+ Recognize safety hazards; act to protect patients, self, and others.

+ Demonstrate knowledge of emergency preparedness codes.

+ Support and participate in safety and infection control programs

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

+ Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science.

+ 1-year laboratory experience. Experience with laboratory procedures with an emphasis on sterile techniques. Experience in a human or animal-assisted reproduction laboratory, including in vitro fertilization, will be a plus
