Summary
Responsible for leading a dedicated team who skillfully manage SRP’s water resource contracts and agreements throughout the contract life cycle by applying established water accounting and billing procedures. Manages the design and enhancement of water contract data and information reporting to various internal departments and outside agencies.
What You'll Do
• Manages a team responsible for the accounting, administration, billing, data collection and reporting of land, water entitlements, water usage and money activities for contract water accounts.
• Executes the implementation and maintenance of Water Contract Accounting System (WCAS) and the Contract Center system for managing contract obligations.
• Provides technical input for water contract negotiations including the development of accounting requirements necessary to administer the various water contracts as they apply to the WCAS and Contract Center systems.
• Manages all activities, per the water contract and agreement terms and stipulations, for all association contract water accounts.
• Performs computer application business process analysis, business and system design, programming, testing, implementing, and documenting of water related agreements.
• Oversees individual contributors in implementing, and documenting water contract administration and accounting and obligation tracking systems, including applications and interfaces to other computer systems.
• Provides technical guidance to team members throughout the data collection, validation and report preparation phases necessary to produce the annual Arizona Department of Water Resources reports and SRP's internal Water Operations and Statistics Report. Responsible for monitoring the progress of work activities and adjusting priorities to meet deadlines and/or contractual obligations.
• Provides consulting, training, and technical support to meet departmental needs and/or contractual obligations for SRP.
• Monitors the contract life-cycle process to assure compliance with the organization's contractual guidelines, satisfaction of customer specifications and adherence to organization policy.
• Handles other projects and duties as assigned.

Experience
A minimum of seven years of related experience is required (if no degree, 11 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and related experience totaling 11 years).
Education
A bachelor’s degree related to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.
Hybrid Workplace
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
