What You Will Learn:
The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L’Oréal USA is a strategic consulting and analytics group focused on CeraVe and La Roche Posay within the Dermatological Division here at L’Oreal. The AVP of RGM will lead a team that helps understand market and consumer dynamics and drive profitable growth through pricing and promotional strategy in conjunction with Commercial Strategy Field Sales, and . Team members come from varying backgrounds including market research, analytics, finance, and marketing but share a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations. Common work includes consulting with upper management on strategic business decisions, discrete choice modeling (Conjoint), promotional and ROI analysis, financial modeling, syndicated data analysis, and dashboard and tool development.
This role will focus on managing and building the RGM capability and mindset within the L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty Division. In addition to working directly with senior management and brand presidents in the L’Oreal Dermatological Beauty Division, the AVP will work closely with other RGM leaders and teams in helping to drive forward the broader function in the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead LDB RGM across all RGM levers (pricing & portfolio, mix, promotion strategy)
+ Building and lead conjoint consumer price modeling (internally and across our division as well as cross divisions (Consumer Product Groups- ex. L’Oreal Paris))
+ Strong voice in the pricing strategy and collaborate cross functionally (divisional leadership, finance, sales, marketing).
+ Demonstrated analytical ability and mindset with a focus on solving complex business problems through data analysis and a strong understanding of our internal business strategy
+ Ability to consult with and influence senior management on strategic topics
+ Able to determine the right solution and resources needed to address different questions
+ Knows how to understand how different data is generated and its potential limitations
+ Ability to storytell and who can craft presentations that are focused but thorough and is comfortable presenting to all levels including upper-level management
+ Strong collaborator across functions and level and aims to build relationships with other teams to further their knowledge and impact within the company
+ Proactively drives change and innovation within the team and seeks to influence others
+ Owns strategic direction of their area of expertise. Able to generate solutions to broader RGM challenges outside of individual projects
+ Deep understanding of a company P&L in order to find opportunities for profit improvement
What We Are Looking For:
Educational Background and Requirements:
+ Bachelors degree in Sales, Commercial Strategy, Commercial Finance, Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Marketing or related field
+ 7-10+ years of experience working in a FMCG or CPG organization
+ Understanding of consumer-focused pricing strategies and how they connect to product financial structures
+ Understanding of Retailer landscape
+ Experience working across marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to help drive strategic decisions
+ Hands on experience working with large datasets to derive insights and make recommendations
+ Familiar with both primary consumer research and syndicated data sources (Circana, Numerator, Nielsen)
+ Able to independently plan and execute complex analysis
+ Experience managing/guiding junior analysts in their work
+ Experience presenting complex concepts and recommendations to senior leadership
+ Experience with data analytics software such as R, Excel, Tableau, and/or Power BI
Additional Benefits Information As Follows:
Salary Range : $147,100 - $213,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
