    We are currently seeking a Financial Accounting Intern at our ATI Specialty Materials facility located in Monroe, North Carolina, reporting to the Director, Finance & Operations. The Financial Operations team is responsible for performing daily accounting operations, month-end close process, financial reporting, while maintaining effective internal controls. As an Accounting Intern, youll work collaboratively across other finance functions (Cost Accounting, FP&A, and Payroll).

    Primary Responsibilities

    As a Finance Intern you will providesupport services within the Finance Department. This will include, but not limited to:

     

    + Participate in the development of policies, procedures and practices that are essential to internal controls

    + Lead process improvements within various areas of finance operations

    + Lead PowerBI project to streamline financial reporting and visibility

    + Perform financial analysis on ad-hoc basis

    + Collaborate on special projects

    + Support other ad-hoc requests
