**Schedule:** Full Time
**Shift** : Monday -Friday 8am to 5pm.
**Location:** Located about our Hospice office at 770 W Granada Blvd with some travel into our Stuart F Myer Hospice House Palm Coast.
The role you'll contribute:
The HospiceCare Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for providing both administrative and patient/family support as well as ongoing volunteer training, education and support in compliance with the Medicare Hospice Conditions of Participation. The volunteer services program is designed and maintained to assure administrative and/or direct patient support in an amount equal to or greater than 5% of the total patient care hours of all paid hospice employees and contract staff. Thorough records are maintained to ensure compliance and are available for departmental reporting and regulatory purposes. The Volunteer Coordinator recruits, educates, trains, assigns and evaluates all volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator reports to the Administrative Director of Hospice.

+ Maintains accurate records of volunteer activities and contributions.
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 3 years work experience
+ Valid in state Drivers License with current car insurance
Preferred qualifications:
+ Active American Heart Association BLS
