The role you'll contribute:
The Quality Manager (QM), in collaboration with the Quality Director, oversees and works in partnership with the hospital and medical staff leadership in the monitoring and reporting of performance improvement activities. The QM maintains and administers a framework for continuously monitoring and improving the quality of care and service provided to patients. The QM, along with the Quality Director, is responsible for the operational components of the organizations Quality initiatives including Core Measures and Regulatory Compliance. The QM facilitates and coordinates activities at all levels of hospital staff and leadership aimed at achieving a continuous state of readiness surrounding multiple accreditation programs and ensuring ongoing compliance with state and federal rules and regulations. The QM, along with the Quality Director is responsible for the achievement and maintenance of regulatory accreditation including survey preparation, survey coordination and survey follow up activities. Serves as resource for orientation, patient care practices and staff education.
The value you'll bring to the team:
+ Oversees the Quality Analyst Team (i.e. assignments, scheduling, daily operations, performance review, etc.);
+ Conduct orientation, evaluations, and assist with the hiring process of quality management staff
+ Oversees the policy and procedure process; develops and revises policies and procedures to comply with regulatory standards
+ Oversees Regulatory Compliance;
+ Oversees and coordinates the Quality Management Committee;
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
+ Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited school of nursing upon hire
+ Bachelors degree in healthcare-related field upon hire
+ Minimum five (5) years experience in an acute care setting with Lead, Clinical Coordinator, or Supervisor experience upon hire
+ Current active and clear FL Registered Nurse license upon hire
+ 8 hours of Hip and Knee/Spine education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
+ 8 hours of Stroke education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
+ Current NIHSS certification upon hire, renewed as required
