In the role of Intern, Continuous Improvement, you'll play a pivotal part on our Production team. This position contributes to our vision by: As an intern, Continuous Improvement in WWS, you will support the management team in ensuring the highest standards of quality for aerospace components and processes. You will gain hands-on experience in lean manufacturing, six sigma, data analysis and process improvement within the aerospace sector. The internship offers the opportunity to contribute to both the daily operations and long-term continuous improvement initiatives, helping to enhance product reliability, safety, and performance. What are the expected outcomes for the internship? • Implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies in a selected pilot line. • Final presentation to top management on the implemented project • Training gains on lean-sigma. Candidate skills & requirements Knowledge • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies- Basic • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing – Basic • Excellent comunication skills, verbal and written, with internal and external customers. • Capable of managing large amounts of data and multiple tasks. • Ability to build strategic working relationships at all levels of the organization. • Strong ability to analyze various options to determine best solution for the organization. • Self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic team environment and produce results with minimal management guidance. Computer Skills: • Strong proficiency in the use of common software packages including MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint and Visio. • Capable of managing large amounts of data and tasks. • Competency in performing data analysis through data business analytics services (Power BI, Tableau, Minitab or similar). • Autocad.
