Demos Host/Hostess

Part Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $16.50/hr to $18/hr depending on qualifications and experience

Stew’s earned its nickname, the “Disneyland of Dairy Stores” because of its country-fair atmosphere, with costumed characters and animated entertainment throughout the store that keep children entertained while parents shop.

Position Description:

Interacting directly with customers at various service bars (Bakery, BBQ, Coffee, Deli, Demo, Fish, Ice Cream, Meat, and Produce) in handing out samples of various products. Answering customers questions about the sample and offering recommendations about product pairings.

Your day-to-day:

+ Setting up your designated section for the day

+ Maintaining quality demos all day for customers to sample

+ Answering questions about products

+ Greeting customers and engaging in conversations

+ Cleaning equipment used for product

+ Learning different items in each department

What you bring to the team:

+ An enthusiastic personality

+ Being able to follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations

+ Entry level, no prior experience required

Working Conditions:

+ Requires frequent walking, standing, reaching and bending, with occasional lifting up to 30 pounds

+ Being capable to handle different types of food without restrictions
