About the Role

We are seeking aSenior Training Specialist – Instructional Designto support the design, development, and implementation of engaging learning experiences across the company.

This role plays a critical part in identifying organizational training needs, designing blended learning content, managing the learning management system (LMS), and supporting strategic initiatives that elevate employee growth and performance. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about education, technology, and continuous improvement.

Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience + performance-based bonus + comprehensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities

+ Analyze training needs and develop programs to enhance employee and organizational performance.

+ Design, develop, and implement online, classroom, and blended learning materials that align with business goals.

+ Create course content, learning activities, assignments, and assessments using instructional design best practices.

+ Develop instructor guides, manuals, rubrics, and multimedia resources (video, audio, and visual content).

+ Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, engagement, and alignment with company initiatives.

+ Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, enrollment, and reporting.

+ Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions across various departments and business lines.

+ Research emerging technologies, tools, and practices to enhance the effectiveness of training delivery.

+ Partner with leaders and HR to identify, design, and deliver targeted learning solutions that support business objectives.

+ Support strategic planning, reporting, and measurement of training program effectiveness.

+ Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted).

+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience in training, instructional design, higher education, or organizational development.

+ Experience designing and developing e-learning courses, curricula, and educational materials.

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

+ Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and virtual meeting platforms (Microsoft Teams).

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments.

+ Skilled in needs assessment, curriculum development, and learning evaluation.

+ Creative thinker with strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.

+ Ability to travel overnight (up to 25%) and maintain reliable internet access when working remotely.

+ Must maintain a valid driver’s license and successfully pass background and drug screenings.

Desired Skills

+ Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop).

+ Experience with learning management system implementation or administration.

+ Knowledge of accessibility standards and troubleshooting within online learning platforms.

+ Conference or event planning experience.
