Your role and responsibilities

Minimum 8-10 years of experience as a Drupal expert. He/she should bring a wealth of knowledge in Drupal architecture, development, and DevOps, coupled with a proven ability to mentor and drive best practices.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the Drupal platform, demonstrated through a strong track record of architecting, developing, and maintaining complex web solutions. They have a deep understanding of Drupal best practices and a passion for sharing their expertise with team members.

Key Responsibilities and Experience Include:

* Drupal Architecture & Development: Extensive experience in designing and building robust Drupal websites, including custom module and theme development. Proven ability to architect complex sites, including partially decoupled implementations, with a focus on front-end performance and scalability. Well, versed with how Drupal caching (varnish, Memcached, DPC) work

* DevOps Expertise: Demonstrated experience in server administration, including platforms like Linux, and familiarity with cloud hosting environments such as AWS, Azure, and Acquia. A strong understanding of development processes and a drive for continuous improvement.

* Site Maintenance & Audits: Proven ability to maintain existing Drupal sites, including performing thorough site audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

* Website Search Expertise: Hands-on experience with implementing, configuring, and optimizing website search technologies (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch, Drupal core search) to enhance user experience.

* Performance Measurement & Improvement: Proven ability to measure website performance using relevant tools and methodologies, identify bottlenecks, and recommend and implement effective improvements.

The ideal candidate will be:

* A strong problem-solver with a proactive and results-oriented approach.

* An excellent communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

* Knowledge of the latest Drupal trends and technologies.

* Exceptional documentation skills, including creating website maintenance instructions, and contributions to the Drupal community documentation.

* Prior experience in other web development using Java, SQL is a plus.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Certified Drupal developer with a strong backend focus and enough full-stack range to take features from idea to launch

* Should care about maintainability, performance, and clean integrations.

* Specialties in views plugins, migrations, media, multilingual, caching, and CI/CD

* Ability to listen and frame trade-offs clearly while helping the product team, design team, and engineering teams reduce friction and stay centered on user needs.
