    Job Overview

     

    Fairview is looking for a Nutrition Services Aide at our **UMMC - West Bank** location, in Minneapolis, MN! This position is **48 hours bi-weekly** , on **Morning** shift!

     

    Prepares and portions food, assembles and disassembles patient trays in a safe manner. Serves customers, delivers, and retrieves patient trays.

     

    Schedule

     

    Week 1

     

    Monday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

     

    Wednesday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

     

    Tuesday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

     

    Week 2

     

    Friday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

     

    Saturday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

     

    Sunday: 6:30AM - 3:00PM

    Responsibilities

    + Prepares and portions food appropriately for designated areas.

    + Plates and serves food.

    + Handles and stores food in a safe manner following HACCP standard operation procedures.

    + Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedures.

    + Wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.

    + Serves customers in cafeterias, doctors dining rooms and other non-patient locations.

    + Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

    Required Qualifications

    + Ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language. Basic math skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or

    + GED
