Senior Manager, Brand Management (Timberland PRO)
What will you do?
A day in the life of a Senior Manager, Brand Management at Timberland looks a little like this.
As Senior Manager, Brand Management for Timberland PRO, you will be a trusted member of our Global Brand Marketing and Americas Marketing team, driving the overall strategy to achieve financial goals and long-term growth. Reporting to the Head of Marketing (Timberland AMER) with a dotted line to the Sr. Director, Brand Management (Timberland Global), you will collaborate and liaise with directors of Regional Marketing, key Global Functions (Creative, PR and Social) and the managers and PRO leaders across Merchandising, Design, and Development.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
• Drive the Timberland PRO sub brand, designed for industrial needs, leveraging key consumer insights and industry trends.
• Build the marketing strategy for the Timberland PRO sub brand through the larger Timberland brand journey map and GTM process.
• Develop long term and seasonal communication and creative concepts based on key consumer insights and industry needs related to product functionality and innovation.
• Concept and execute inspiring briefs alongside creative team to enhance overall product and key product features and benefits.
• Partner with innovation to concept the storytelling for new innovations and materials. Identifying and highlighting product claims, benefits, and value.
• Own product naming strategy and seasonal naming of all new footwear, apparel and accessories product.
• Elevate eCommerce Product and Landing Pages through partnership with creative, copy and e-commerce teams.
+ Own the Timberland PRO consumer insights strategy that help feed GTM decision making.
+ Coordinate global brand expression including brand guidelines, global brand packaging, global brand campaign narrative etc.
+ Manage brand partnerships and product collaboration strategy.
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 8+ years of experience and professional achievements.
The foundation skills you will need in this position are:
+ Combination of a strategist, brand manager and creative. You are the ultimate storyteller!
+ Creative agency strategic planning experience which means you can write great briefs that almost look like final creative.
+ Excited by consumer insights and how to turn them into actionable communication.
+ Understand the full consumer journey from product creation to purchase on-site and in the store.
+ Experience in industrial and work specifically footwear and apparel.
+ Strong communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for crafting compelling messaging and collaborating effectively.
+ Creativity and Innovation: the ability to think creatively and produce innovative marketing ideas is crucial.
+ Strategic Thinking: a strong understanding of marketing strategy and the ability to develop and execute effective plans.
+ Analytical Skills: ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
+ Project Management: experience in managing projects, timelines, and budgets.
+ Customer Empathy: understand and connect with customers’ needs and perspectives.
There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.
• Skills in Basic Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.

Hiring Range** **:
$116,000.00 USD - $145,000.00 USD annually
**Incentive Potential** : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
