    Position Details:

    + **Status:** Fulltime

    + **Shift Hours:** 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (May Vary)

    + **Shift Days:** Monday thru Friday

    + **Location:** Clearwater, FL

    The Scheduler is responsible for:

    + Effectively and efficiently addresses the needs of both internal and external customers when scheduling patients by carefully collecting demographic, insurance, and procedure information.

    + Accurately schedule procedures

    + Deliver complex clinical examination instructions

    + Document patient response to clinical questions

    + Keep the patients physician and hospital offices current with information about their scheduled procedures

    + Must be familiar with payer guidelines for balancing authorization requirements with scheduled appointment dates.

    + Perform general clerical support that includes answering telephones, data entry, communication, and other assigned duties

    + Must be flexible and willing to rotate shifts periodically

    + Must be able to travel within the BayCare Health System area using personal transportation

    Required Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    Experience:

    + Required 1 year business or 1 year customer service or 1 year healthcare
