Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Electrical Engineer** to join our team!
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Complete design reviews of power distribution systems – 34.5KV and/or 13.8KV and below;
+ Review load calculations including electrical circuits and equipment sizing;
+ Review lighting calculations and photometric design;
+ Provide electrical engineering support based on design criteria, specifications and standards including applicable codes;
+ Complete reviews of electrical submittals, RFIs, specifications, technical reports, preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) procedures, etc.;
+ Track project, requests, submittals, RFIs, etc.;
+ Follow up and coordinate with engineering staff for pending submittals, RFIs and/or any project requests;
+ Reporting on a weekly basis to the management team the list of pending items like submittals and RFIs;
+ Develop in-house design drawings and specifications; and
+ Perform design work as required; and
+ Provide electrical engineering field support (approximately up to 50% of the time) for site surveys, assessments and inspections.
Background and Experience Required:
+ Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field of study from an accredited college or university;
+ Minimum of five (5) years of experience in electrical design, design coordination, and field work on power distribution systems – 34.5KV and/or 13.4KV and below;
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD;
+ Experience in scope of work and specification development, and as well as knowledge of NFPA 70, 70B, 130 and ANSI/NETA ATS & MTS; and
+ Written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field of study

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
