    Bonus Available: $20,000 with a two year commitment paid out every 90 days

    Hours: 8 hour or 10 hour Shift

     

    We are seeking a Post Anesthesia Care RN , also referred to as a PACU Nurse in the recovery room area for our post anesthesia care unit (PACU) . The PACU RN, or Recovery Room Nurse, plays a critical role in our surgery center by caring for patients as they regain consciousness after surgery or other p erioperative procedures requiring anesthesia. PACU RNs are essential in ensuring a safe recovery from anesthesia, addressing any complications promptly, and supporting patients through the critical early stages of post-operative or p erioperative care.

    Responsibilities

    **If you have at least one year of experience in the Perioperative area of the operating room as a Circulator , OR Nurse , PACU Nurse or Surgical Nurse you are encouraged to apply!

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Monitor vital signs and detect early complications

    + Manage pain and administer medications

    + Ensure airway patency and address respiratory issues

    + Assess consciousness and neurological status

    + Inspect surgical sites and manage wounds

    + Provide comfort and update families

    + Communicate with care team

    + Document care and interventions

    + Deliver discharge instructions

    Qualifications

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Current and valid state RN License.

    + Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

    + Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

    + Current PALS (AHA or ARC) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

    + Previous Critical Care or PACU hospital experience or minimum of one year OTJ traning.

    + Critical Care RN (CCRN) preferred

    + Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
