    About the Role

     

    We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focusedLicensed Electricianto join our solar installation team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in bringing clean energy projects to life by performing the electrical work required to install, interconnect, and commission residential solar systems. You’ll work hands-on in the field, collaborating with installation crews and project managers to ensure every project meets our high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

     

    This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed professional who takes pride in their craft, values teamwork, and wants to grow within a fast-expanding renewable energy company.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Install and wire electrical components of residential solar PV systems, including inverters, disconnects, service panels, and monitoring equipment.

    + Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, local codes, and company standards.

    + Perform electrical upgrades as needed, including service panel swaps and sub-panel installations.

    + Conduct final electrical connections and assist with system commissioning and testing.

    + Review blueprints, site plans, and single-line diagrams to ensure accurate installation and proper equipment placement.

    + Collaborate with installation crews to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

    + Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot system or wiring issues to ensure reliability and performance.

    + Communicate effectively with inspectors, project managers, and customers regarding system installation and code compliance.

    + Train and mentor apprentices or junior installers, promoting safe and professional work practices.

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Active state electrical license (Journeyman or Master, depending on location requirements).

    + 3+ years of electrical experience, preferably including residential wiring or solar PV work.

    + Strong knowledge of NEC codes, grounding and bonding practices, and solar electrical systems.

    + Experience with main service panel work, conduit bending, wire sizing, and terminations.

    + Ability to interpret electrical plans and one-line diagrams accurately.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

    + Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

    + NABCEP PV Installation Professional or related certification a plus (not required).
